Lysaria Vaeliar was born in Myr, one of the nine Free Cities located in Essos (and the third most powerful, after Pentos and Braavos). Her childhood was not difficult, as she grew up in a family of well-to-do arms dealers.

At the age of fourteen, she was captured by slave traders who later sold her to a brothel. From that moment, until the day her paths and Orys Dreg's crossed, she rotated from business to business... ending at Flea Bottom; the humiliations experienced throughout those two years spent imprisoned in whorehouses left physical and mental scars that she carries with her until today, and of which she does never speaks.

Currently, Lysaria is eighteen years old and and he changed her last name to Rys with the intention of leaving behind a past that she can no longer recover. Nevertheless, on the streets of King's Landing it is much better known as the Wraith, since she is capable of moving, running and even jumping without making any sound; just like a shadow.

She still works for Orys, mainly as his right hand and spy. She is also madly in love with him, but they have a complicated relationship due to the traumas they both have to live with.

Lysaria is a devoted member of the Dragons, whom she considers her family, and also a woman of strong religious beliefs.
